| The ACE is Here |
We are excited to announce the start of the revitalization of the historic ACE Theater!
Once the epicenter of culture and camaraderie for black folks in southern Miami, The ACE was a place to be each night of the week. And, with a resurgence of energy from The ACE Theater Foundation and a grant from the National Park Service, the Theater will once again bring joy and community to historic Coconut Grove
ACE Theater in Miami, Florida, is an Art Deco commercial structure constructed circa 1930 in Miami's Coconut Grove neighborhood. On July 1, 2014, the site was designated as a local historic resource. The building was added to the National Register of Historic Places June 13, 2016.
The ACE Theater Foundation's mission is to continue the legacy of culture and influence native Miamians have had on The Grove by reawakening the soul of The ACE and inviting all people into its rich culture.
